RAF Church Fenton, is situated in the county of Yorkshire, 4 miles SE of Tadcaster. The station opened in 1937 as a fighter airfield, and flew a veriety of aircraft, including the Hornet. During the 1960's the station transferred to training duties, and had a long association with the Jet Provost, untill the Tucano came along. |

The airfield is reproduced, as accurately as available maps and plans will allow. The technical, and domestic sites are modelled to recognise the fact that no military airfield can perform without the technical back up, of the resident personnel. |
These buidings are built following plans of actual RAF buildings, but not neccesariliy at this airfield. They are intended to display the type of building which may be present. |
