RAF Swinderby, is situated in the county of Lincolnshire,
SW of Lincoln.
The station opened in Sept 1940, and flew a veriety of aircraft, including Hampdens, Manchesters, Lancasters, Hurricanes, Spitfires, Wellingtons,
 Varsity's, along with many others.   





 On the 20th March, 1964, the station became No 7 School of Recruit Training, and would continue in this role,
 untill final closure in1993.

Airfield side, the scenery is as accurate as is possible, considering the information available. The hangars are of the correct J Type and are in their correct positions. The control tower is of the correct type. All these structures have been built following detailed plans of the originals.
 Each hangar is made up of over 80 individual components.



The technical and domestic site are not intended to be accurate in their layout, but to give an insight into the types of building which would be in place on a typical RAF station, and again these have been constructed following plans and diagrams of the buildings.

The scenery is packaged in a self install.exe which is set by default, to install into FS9.

Instructions are included to install into FS2002.
